Founded nearly 40 years ago, Bentley Mills was in need of a brand refresh to reflect their heritage brand status. Having defined design, color, quality, and customer service in the commercial carpet industry since it’s inception, the California-based brand manufactures and markets award-winning broadloom, carpet tile, and area rug products for interiors across the globe.

Their rich history in Los Angeles has covered, literally, some of the most prestigious events from red carpet ceremonies in Hollywood, to infamous inaugurations in Washington, D.C. over the past few decades.

Working in collaboration with TVS Design, Bentley looked to Propp+Guerin to redesign their corporate identity. Their advertising, marketing communications, website, corporate brand video, and environmental graphics in their showrooms and offices throughout the country were created over consecutive years.

A play on an old saying, “Every Carpet Has A Story”, became their new tagline used across advertising and marketing communications. Their showrooms have garnered awards at both NeoCon/Chicago and NeoCon/East consecutive years running with each theme reflecting a new line of carpet being introduced. The company was later purchased by Balta from Belgium.
