Through its Web Privacy Seal, Email Privacy Seal and Trusted Download Programs, TRUSTe helps consumers and businesses identify trustworthy online organizations. They are also responsible for resolving thousands of individual privacy disputes every year.

Founded in 1997, they’ve since grown to be the leader in promoting privacy policy disclosure, informed user consent, and consumer education on the web. Their corporate identity, however, had grown tired and required updating to reflect their position amongst their competitors.

They selected Propp+Guerin to redesign their corporate image. The result was a new mark to represent the company overall, but also one that could extend across a multitude of web sites, while identifying the various certification levels required by todays users. An identity standards guide was also created for implementing each of the marks, along with a new stationery system.
